Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God, you teach us that life is precious. You call the little children to you, and ask us to be like them; trusting, faithful, joyful, innocent. But we grow up. We sin, we grow angry, we are unfaithful, we war against one another. Help us, O Lord! Forgive us! Remind us of our purpose as your children, and lead us to places of selflessness and service. Give us generous hearts, mouths that speak kindness, and hands that offer life. Help us to forgive, as we are forgiven, and to heal this broken world, in your name. In Christ, we pray, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Deacon Kay Chabot |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Passing of the Peace | Battle Hymn of the Republic | Congregation |
God of our salvation, how wonderful are those who bring good news and announce your peace. By the power of your Holy Spirit, help us to hear and believe your word, and to share this good news: peace on earth and good will to all, through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
If Your presence doesn’t go with us, We don’t want to leave this place Lord we need You near, As we go from here, To Lead us by Your love and grace. May Your presence fill us every day, May Your Spirit lead the way Lord to You we call, Let Your glory fall, And may Your presence go with us. Let Your glory fall, And may Your presence go with us. Go with us. |
