Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
The mountains protect us with a wild beauty; yellow in the dawn, rose at dusk. Our skin is kissed by sunlight, and we delight in the whisper of palms. Each day is filled with promise, and a warmth that eases any pain. We give thanks, O God, for the works of your hands! We delight in the gifts you have made that mold the days of our lives! Forgive our blindness of soul, when we do not see, and our deafness of Spirit, when we do not hear. Whether the glory of creation or the need of another, we pray that you will restore us to actively embracing our call to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. We ask in His name, Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | Great Is Thy Faithfulness | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Prelude | Gloria Patri | Praise Band |
God of our salvation, how wonderful are those who bring good news and announce your peace. By the power of your Holy Spirit, help us to hear and believe your word, and to share this good news: peace on earth and good will to all, through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen |

* Opening Hymn | This Is The Day | (Psalm 108) |
If Your presence doesn’t go with us, We don’t want to leave this place Lord we need You near, As we go from here, To Lead us by Your love and grace. May Your presence fill us every day, May Your Spirit lead the way Lord to You we call, Let Your glory fall, And may Your presence go with us. Let Your glory fall, And may Your presence go with us. Go with us. |
