Welcoming | My Peace (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
God, it is you who sets the sun in the heavens, and casts the rain upon the ground. Your power nurtures Creation, and heals her wounds; your hand gives beauty to the most plain landscape, and joy to the eye that beholds it! We give thanks for your love, and attention to every piece of life! Help us when we do not see the beauty for the darkness we may encounter in our lives. Help us, when we fail to see the beauty in another human being. Help us and forgive us, when we are not intentional in our faith, and hurt without knowing. Heal us, O Lord, and gather us to your light. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Life of the Church | Special Music | Elder Jackie Morgan |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | May Jesus Christ Be Praised | Congregation |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
