Welcoming/Preparing to Meet with God | “My Peace” (As we return to our seats.) | Rev. Christine Dickerson |
We give thanks to you, God of Grace and Glory, that you know us; we give praise, God of love, that you walk with us. We are humbled to be made in your image, and awed that you gave your only son so that we might live. O Lord, we give thanks; we bend our knees and bow our heads. You forgave our sins! Now, we come to you again for forgiveness, because we often forget your gift, or we are too self concerned to care. Hear us, we pray, and lead us back to you. Help us to remember your Promise, clear our eyes that we may see and help those in need, and be kind to those we love. We ask in Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Life of the Church/Announcements | Special Music | Elder Sharon Ratliffe |
Hear the good news! Who is in a position to condemn? Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us. Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old life has gone; a new life has begun. Know that you are forgiven, and be at peace. Amen. |

Passing of the Peace | “O Worship The King” | Congregation |
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen. |
||
Prelude | “Gloria Patri” | Praise Band |
God, source of all light, by your Word you give light to the soul. Pour out upon us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, that, through the Scriptures, our hearts and minds may be opened to know your will in our lives. Amen. |
