ONE: In the wilderness, water brings life.
ALL: Seek us out, O God, and take us to the water.
ONE: In the Word of God, the good news gives life.
ALL: Seek us out, O God, and fill us with understanding.
ONE: In the bread and the wine, the body and blood of our Savior nourishes everyone.
ALL: Seek us out, O God, and give us yourself.
ONE: Here is the water of life, the word that feeds, the food of eternity. We praise the vine that gives all that is good. Let us worship God.

God of grace and God of mercy, we confess that we have not borne the fruit of the Spirit. We have not loved others as you have loved us. We have denied the promises of baptism and cut ourselves off from you. Forgive us, we pray, and restore us, that we may abide in your love and live out your mercy, for the Sake of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

We have already been cleansed by the word that God has spoken to us. In baptism God claimed us and joined us to Christ, as branches to a vine. Friends, believe the good news of the gospel: in Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Hallelujah! Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what you say to us today. Amen

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to present yourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
Let us offer our lives to the Lord.
Romans 12:1

God of unending gifts, we praise you for your abundant goodness.
As you are generous, we want to be generous too.
May the gifts we bring extend your generosity into the world,
so that all people may be made whole by your goodness and grace. Amen.
