* Call to Worship
One: We meet in the name of God,
         Creator of the universe,
         Source of true humanity
         Mother and Father of all.
ALL: AMEN.
One: We meet in the name of Jesus,
         Word made flesh,
         Savior of fallen humanity,
        Lover of all.
ALL: AMEN.
One: We meet in the name of the Holy Spirit,
         Giver of life,
         Midwife of a new humanity,
         Inspirer of all.
ALL: AMEN.
One: Come then, Eternal God
ALL: BE PRESENT HERE,
         BEFRIEND US HERE,
         RENEW US HERE.

* Opening Hymn Here In This Place  Hymn #401

Prayer of Adoration & Confession (unison)
One: We gather in God's name.
ALL: WE CLAIM CHRIST'S PROMISED PRESENCE.
One: My brothers and sisters,
not out of dread or fear,
but believing God is faithful to forgive,
let us rid ourselves of what we need to carry no longer.
ALL: Eternal God, maker of the skies above,
lowly Christ, born amidst the growing earth,
Spirit of life, wind over the flowing waters,
in earth, sea and sky, you are there.

O hidden mystery,
Sun behind all suns,
Soul behind all souls,
in everything we touch,
in everyone we meet,
your presence is around us,
and we give you thanks.

But when we have not touched but trampled you in creation,
when we have not met but missed you in one another,
when we have not received but rejected you in the poor,
forgive us, and hear now our plea for mercy.

Holy and mighty,
holy and immortal,
have mercy on us.

(In silence, please rest in God's forgiving embrace)

Assurance of Forgiveness
Lead us now, O God,
to acknowledge your costly generosity
by living as forgiven people,
until heaven and earth rejoice
and the whole earth cries Glory!
Through Christ our Savior. Amen.

Prayers of the People & Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Anthem Come to the Table of Grace  Choir

Prayer for Illumination (A prayer for clarity of heart from John Phillip Newell)
Clear our heart, O God, that we may see you.
Clear our heart, O God, that we may truly see ourselves.
Clear our heart, O God, that we may know the sacredness of this moment
and in every moment see you, serve you, strengthen you as the living presence
in every presence.
Clear our heart, O God, that we may see.

Invitation

The Great Thanksgiving
The Lord be with you.
And also with you,
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.

Therefore with all creation we sing your praise:
The people respond:
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory.  Hosanna in the highest.  Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.  Hosanna in the highest.

The minister continues:
Remembering your boundless love revealed to us in Jesus Christ, we break bread and share the cup, giving ourselves to you to live for Christ in joy and praise.
The people respond:
Great is the mystery of faith:
Christ has died,
Christ is risen,
Christ will come again.
